NX DraftingPlus, which will be introduced with NX 7.5, is a collection of new and existing functions devised to meet the demands of 2D centric design and drawing requirements, as well as support 2D to 3D workflows.

From design to tooling and machining, NX on Mac OS X offers a seamless, knowledge-driven design solution. Now with native support for Mac OS X on 64-bit Intel-based Macs. The full computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) functionality of NX, Siemens PLM's flagship digital product development application, now includes the Mac in its list of supported operating environments (in addition to Windows, Linux and Unix).
